Filming of a musical sharing with integrated BSL and captions.

We were part of a sharing of a project in development, and had a few hours to get setup and rehearsed as the cast and company blocked the show and practiced with the live band too. We knew we had to react to a fast moving day but we were there ready to capture it. We had three angles with two operators and also recorded a multitrack of the band and performers.

Because the show had actors that were using intergrated BSL, we understood from researching and working with similar projects that we needed to keep the performer visible as much as possible so that audiences could understanding the signing throughout the whole film. Captions used also need to match up, and be seamless and not jarring.
